Large glass flush mount by Kaiser, Germany. Mid-20th century.

A single piece of handcrafted textured clear glass over a brass-plated aluminium ceiling plate, held in place by a central fixing with a brass cover. The inside of the glass shade is textured with concentric rings; the outside is a relief pattern of softened squares and rectangles. The plate holds four ceramic bulb-holders, each taking a large screw-fitting bulb (E27); in order to protect this fixture for the future, we advise low heat bulbs are installed (eg LED).

Very good original condition with minor signs of wear in line with age and use, including small old scratches to the frame; due to the age and nature of this piece there may be minor imperfections in the glass. New wiring will be required to suit your local needs and regulations (UK clients please contact us if you require assistance with this step). Please note this is a heavy piece which will require suitable installation.

Approximate dimensions:
- Diameter of glass: 41cm
- Overall diameter: 46cm
- Height approximately 11cm.
