An arts and crafts lamp with large fringed shade. Early 20th century, England.
Figured lamp base of brass plated steel on tripod legs, with flamboyant fabric shade probably later work very nicely made with good lining and gold fringes.
The lamp base shows patina in line with age, including some losses to the plating in the upper section revealing the silver tones of the metal (see images). The piece has new wiring taking a single bulb (BC fitting) with switch to the lamp-holder. The shade is in excellent condition.

Height of shade including fringes: 47cm (18.5")
Diameter of shade: 60cm (23.6")
Height of stand only to top of lamp holder: 151cm (59.5")
