Long ice glass vanity sconces by Hillebrand, Germany, 1960s. Two lights available, sold separately (price per piece).

Each light is made up of a curved shade of hand-crafted Murano glass, with organic texture, attached to a chromed back plate through two chrome screws with decorative ball heads. The inside of each shade is loosely scattered with "granules" of glass which create sparkle and movement in the light when seen from the outside.

The pieces are in good original condition with minor signs of wear. As might be expected from pieces of this age and nature there may be small imperfections to the glass. Each light takes 4 x E14 bulbs in ceramic lamp-holders; integral white switch to side of back-plate which can be used or bi-passed by your electrician. The wiring is PAT tested for the UK.

We have had a number of these lovely fixtures and have noted that as the glass is hand-crafted there are variations from one piece to the next in the contouring of the outer surface, the areas of transparency / opacity - arising from the density of bubbles and "granules" - and very slight differences in the tints of the glass.

Dimensions per piece: H 60cm x W 8cm x D 9cm.
