A pair of large Art Deco candleholders with wood detail on the stem, early to mid-20th century, European.

These pieces are nicely made of spun brass and wood, each with a separate brass dish which rest in the top. The dishes can be easily removed for cleaning. Nice overall condition with a warm patina to the metal. There is a little asymmetry from the making process together with signs of age and use throughout, including scratches, dents, losses to the finish, minor surface rust on the central thread (not visible in use) and scant traces of wax.

Approximate dimensions:
Height 15cm excluding the spike (or 19cm includes spike)
Diameter of the upper bowl 19cm
Diameter at the base 16cm.
