A very nice example of the Revolt chair by Friso Kramer. Designed in 1953, this piece dates to around 1970 and came from TU Delft, Netherlands. In good condition with some signs of wear in line with age and college use - mainly surface cracking to both arms as shown - and good overall patina.

Friso Kramer (Netherlands 1922-2019) was a highly influential industrial designer. He produced numerous pieces for De Cirkel in the period 1948-63; he then founded the Total Design bureau with Wim Crouwel, Benno Wissing, Paul and Dick Schwartz.

Dimensions: H: 81cm x W: 59.5cm x D: 47cm | Seat height 45cm
