Decorative brass headboard, mid-20th century, Italian.
Attractive piece, with nice vintage character. There is an even aged patina to the brass which we have left unpolished; the impression of color is dependent on the light and presents as deep brown to gold as illustrated. Overall fair vintage condition with signs of wear including scratches, pitting, warping and oxidation. Nicely engineered and could be installed either way around. Unsigned; redolent of Frigerio and Borsani designs of the time.
