Table or floor lamp base of white satin glass with raised pattern. Mid-20th century European.

The lamp is fitted with a three-way switch allowing light to come through the glass, through the shade, or both, creating a very attractive glow. New wiring with gold-coloured flex and original foot switch; each lamp-holder takes a large screw-fitting bulb (E27) and we would recommend using long, low-heat bulbs, especially for the internal fitting. The satin glass base is in good vintage condition with some minor signs of wear around the top which are not visible in use, and there are some signs of wear in line with age to the brass finish of the base.

The piece is shown here with its original shade for illustration - it has great proportions and lovely vintage character, but the fabric is worn and we would recommend replacement. We can of course provide the shade, if you wish, though you might prefer not to ship it long distance.

Dimensions (base only): Dia: 18cm x H: 44cm

Dimensions of the shade: Dia 30cm x H: 75cm
