Glass pendant light by Peill & Putzler, Germany 1970s.
The pendant light has a large enclosed shade of high quality white glass in the shape of a water lily (or "Seerose") blossom. The simple design has strong architectural lines which echo both modern and Art Deco styles.
The glass has a smooth satin finish to the outside, and is glossy milk white on the inside; finished with a chromed cap which unscrews to give access to the inside. The fixture takes a single bulb with large screw fitting.
Very good original condition with original black flex and ceiling canopy; the canopy simply pushes into place.

Dimensions including chrome cap: diameter 33cm x height 30cm
The height including cable and ceiling canopy is currently approximately 1m (or 39 inches); this can be adjusted by your electrician to suit your space.
