A large mid-century garden lantern with white opaline glass shade and metal frame. Manufactured by Bega, Germany.

A striking piece in good overall condition. The metal frame shows signs of wear in line with age: the surface has been overpainted in the past - as might be expected for a garden fixture - and is finished in white primer; the metal lid has some movement and dents (see images). The white glass shade is in very good original condition. The base has four holes to allow the lamp to be anchored in place.

Unwired (original ceramic lamp-holders in place).

Both the wiring and final paintwork will need to be finished according to your intended use.

Overall H: 70cm x Dia: 52cm
Glass shade only: H: 40cm x Dia: 30cm
