Set of two large bronze door handles of rectangular form with raised fish design. European, circa 1970s.

These are heavy pieces made of cast bronze, which could suit both interior and exterior doors. The color of the bronze is dark brown, with gold undertones. The two pieces are the same - with the fish design positioned centrally - so they can work on a pair of doors, or opposite sides of the same door by turning one piece to suit. There are minor signs of age, as one might expect and a few light scratches near to the fixing points.

Approximate dimensions per piece:
Plate only: H 22cm x W 11.5cm x D 2.2cm
Handle including bracket: H 22cm x W 12cm x D 7.2cm (this is the approximate projection from the face of the door to the fish tail on the face of the handle)

Each handle is fixed in place through holes in the bracket, using bolts which suit the thickness and style of your door (bolts not supplied).
