Set of four round coat hangers of cast aluminium. French, art deco, first half 20th century. A simple design of hanging hook, often seen grouped on large coat racks or hall stands. Could also be used as furniture door/drawer pulls.
Good vintage condition with signs of wear in line with age and use, including light scratches, dents and some pitting from the casting process. There is an aged, unpolished patina to the metal which we have left as found.
Installation is through a threaded hole in the reverse of the stem. Each hanger comes with a short bolt (image 8) - possibly designed to be mounted on a thin backing plate or board - but could be replaced with a longer bolt to suit your project.
