An elegant bar trolley with two cantilevered tiers, Italy, 1950s.
The trolley is constructed around a steel X-shaped frame with heavy brass column and wood (probably mahogany) and twin shelves. The trolley is guided by a single streamlined handle, and has a removable brass cage for bottles on the lower tier.
The piece is in very good original condition with signs of wear in line with age and light use throughout, including light cracking to the varnish. The brass has been left unpolished and has developed a nice warm patina.
