Art Deco style globe by Columbus of Germany. This globe has a glass sphere with paper coating; it has a bakelite and steel frame and references are in German. It is believed to be a 1940s illuminating DUO model, which shows both the political and physical world map.
This piece is in its original condition - it has a little damage where paper is held with tape, but otherwise it is in good condition. Newly rewired.
