A good size table lamp in brass by Hans Agne Jakobsson, and made by his company in Markaryd, Sweden, mid-20th century.
A simple design with a height-adjustable brass arm and a good weighted base. The brass is in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and a nice patina.
Shade:
The original shade frame has been refinished and re-covered. The new hand-made pleated skirt - buttermilk linen over card - is based on the original in both style and construction.
Wiring & Bulb:
The lamp has its original wiring; we advise this is tested/replaced in the country of install to make sure it meets local needs. The single lamp-holder takes an E27 bulb, and we recommend a low-heat model to protect the fixture and shade for the future.
