Bronze Push-Pull Door Handle with Patina and Abstract Relief
A tall bronze push-pull door handle with weathered patina and raised pattern. Mid-to-late 20th century, European.
This is a heavy piece, made of cast bronze. We have not cleaned or polished the metal and it is offered as found. There are interesting changing tones from use, from green to golden brown. There are signs of wear in line with age and use, including green oxidation - particularly to the bracket - and rust to the fixings on the reverse. The design is abstract and, aside from the patina from use, has no defined orientation.
The handle is fixed to the door using two bolts which fit through the base of the bracket, as suit the design of your door, and the weight of the bronze; fixing bolts are not included.
Approximate dimensions when oriented as shown in the main image.
Overall: H 25cm x W 11cm (including bracket) x D 6.5cm
Main plate only: H 25cm x W 9cm
Approximate weight: 3.5kg
