Ceramic vessel by British potter Alan Wallwork (1931 - 2016).
The handbuilt vessel has a grooved crescent form in neutral brown tones, with turquoise glaze to the interior. It is in very nice vintage condition with slight asymmetry, as one might expect from the making process. Dates from the late 1900s or early 2000s, and is incised "AW" to base.
