Ceramic Vessel by Waistel Cooper, England 20th Century

Sold out

A handmade ceramic vessel of pinched oval form by British potter Waistel Cooper (1921-2003).

A very attractive piece in natural tones. The exterior has a rough textured rusk glaze, with a smooth speckled glaze to the interior.

Overall very good condition, with age-appropriate signs of wear and flaws from the hand-making and firing process, including one spot lower right (see images). Signed Waistel to the base.

Approximate dimensions: H 11.5cm x W 18.5cm wide x D 10.5cm

The piece is shown in the last image with other Waistel Cooper vessels from our collection (sold separately). Please contact us if you would like more details.
