An elegant mid-20th century headboard with cast bronze sculptural panel, designed by Luciano Frigerio, Italy.
This is a stylish piece from the Cellini Arte collection - model Benny - 1970. The decorative section comprises a sculpture of cast bronze surrounded by a rectangular border with a brass finish, possibly a bespoke addition requested by the original owner. The depth and tone of the metal change according to the level of light, and images are taken with natural light coming from the left. The lower part of the frame (typically hidden in use) is dark grey metal.
Overall the headboard is in good vintage condition. There are minor signs of wear in line with age and use.
