An “Uchiwa” wall light by Ingo Maurer for M design, Germany, 1970s.
Rice paper and bamboo light which gives a beautifully warm and diffuse glow. Unusual to see this smaller wall model (46cm wide).
Good original condition, with just a couple of breaks in the paper, which do not affect the diffusion of the light; original wiring will need to be tested/replaced locally prior to install, and we recommend a low-heat bulb (E27) to protect the fixture for the future.
