Modernist church candlestick, brass; early to mid-20th century, Germany.
A heavy piece, in good vintage condition with an aged patina - with mellow gold tones - which we have left as found. The depth of the gold tones depends on levels of light; these images are taken with natural light coming from the left. There are signs of wear as one might expect from age and use, including light scratches and some corrosion, mainly to the surface of the top tray. The spike can be unscrewed for cleaning.
