Pair of Lateral Bronze Door Handles with Letter Plate, 20th Century
A pair of lateral bronze push or pull door handles, with Brutalist scalloped design, mid-late 20th century, European. The set is completed with a matching letter-plate.
The pieces are heavy, made of cast bronze, with an applied and aged patina, that we've left as found. They are in good vintage condition with normal signs of use, including losses to the lacquer and green oxidation throughout. The symmetry of the design means the handles can be used as a pair on double doors, or separately.
Each piece is fixed to the door using four bolts (not supplied) which fit through the base of the bracket, as suit the design of your door, and the weight of the metal.
