Simple and elegant ceiling pendant light of layered black and off-white metal diffusers, signed by Stilnovo of Milan, Italy. Mid-20th century.
A beautiful understated fixture, very nicely made, in good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and a very nice overall patina. There are some small chips or scratches to the painted finish, mainly around the edges of the top tiers, with some spots to the side of the shade. New wiring will be required. Very unusually, the fixing bears the yellow Stilnovo label as shown.
Overall, for us, this is a very nice example of Italian modern design.
