A sculptural bronze push or pull door handle with abstract relief. Germany, second half 20th century (probably 1970s).
A heavy piece, made of cast metal, with very nice changing tones from use; unpolished and retaining a heavy deep brown patina. Overall good vintage condition with some signs of wear throughout, in line with age and use. The piece can be used indoors or outdoors; the abstract pattern works in any orientation - in the main picture the bracket is below the plate on the right.
The bracket is finished with a light texture, and is attached to the plate by three screws on the reverse. The handle can be fitted using two long bolts (not supplied) to suit the thickness of your door and the weight of the metal.
