Monumental or oversize studio ceramic table lamp in natural tones by Bernard Rooke, England mid-20th century.

A beautiful statement piece, hand-built, with organic shaping in natural tones of sand and stone. The weight of the piece suggests Rooke's early work (unsigned).

Good vintage condition, with occasional flaws in line with the making and firing process - firing cracks, nicks, glaze losses and minor asymmetry - see images for detail and overview.
