Brass vanity mirror, by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for HAJ AB Markaryd, Sweden 1960s.
The adjustable mirror sits on a heavy brass base; the back of the mirror is lacquered in soft white. The mirror section lifts off the base and can be disconnected for safety during shipping.
The piece is in good original condition with a very nice patina. There are signs of age throughout including minor fading to the brass as the lacquer has worn with age; the brass has been left unpolished and the HAJ AB label is in place on the underside
